In my work I try to recall that magical feeling I remember as a child.

Picking up an interesting leaf and holding it in my hands – fascinated by nature and the world around me, in a way that adults tend to grow and ignore.

I take a drive and wonder what paint or glaze could capture the passing landscape - walking the beach I consider the way I would make a barnacle I found out of clay.

The work I create is my way of reliving those moments and how I felt – and possibly inspire others to take notice of theirs as well.
